Like everybody, we have been affected by the pandemic. Although we are very proud of the way we have found ways to keep going, sessions have changed. For most of the summer we have managed to drum outdoors in Clifton Park with the support of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. For outdoor sessions we ask that you observe the following protocols:

– social distancing of 2m between yourself and people from a different household

– drum in the smaller groups we organise to keep you safer

As we move towards colder weather, we are trying to move our main group indoors to St James’ Church function rooms.

However, we would ask anyone attending an indoor session to observe these requirements to keep safe:

– wash your hands before you come

– use the hand sanitiser provided

– wear a mask or a visor

– wait outside to be organised into the smaller groups and allocated a separate room

Mondays, 6-7pm @ St James’ Church, Cambridge St, Open Session

These sessions will now change. In order to enable this group to continue to access drumming we are using funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to implement more imaginative approaches.
